replace exchange server with Linux?

Hi

I am trying to provide a complete replacement for a Microsoft customer that would like to switch to Linux.
He would keep the clients on Wintel, but the server would turn Linux. I have filesharing, printing and DHCP figured out on Linux and know that there is mailing available.
But what about calendaring?

Is there a program on Linux that can EMULATE/Replace a Exchange server?
Meaning: Users use WinTel Clients running Outlook to access Linux server, which provides mailing and calendaring.

Is there a way and if not, is there a linux tool that provides mailing/calendaring equal to outlook that would run on Wintel?

Any answers appreciated!

Markus
