Removing Wine access to root dir

Hi,

Removed mapping of root dir to a drive letter using winecfg. But when I do "File->Open" in a win32 app, the root dir is listed under "Desktop" (not under "My Computer").

I noticed none of the files can be opened, but I can still see the directory structure from any win32 app.

How do I prevent this?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have ~/.wine/dosdevices directory, and a symlink to the root directory in it?
Remove it!

You didn't read my post properly. I already removed the symlink from there. So the none of the files can be opened, but the directory structure can still be viewed under "My computer".

Root dir is NOT mapped to any drive.

Thanks,
Sarav
