Post Removing/uninstalling programs


How do I go about Removing/uninstalling programs and bits & pieces i dont use from Linux??

as you can guess i have never done this

to uninstall rpm's use 'gnorpm', 'rpmdrake' (md only), or

rpm -e packagename

if you install from a tar.gz file, you need to run 'make uninstall' from the dircetory containing the configured source code for the app
