remove suse


how can i uninstall suse linux 9.1 personal from my computer?

simply install another OS on top of it.. If you install another operating system, tell it to format your entire hard drive first.

Are you currently dual booting? If so, you can use your second OS to format the partition that contains Suse.

mykrob, im currently daul booting winXP and suse. what if i formated the linux partitions from windows, wont the GRUB boot still appear?

if you have Partition Magic, you can delete the Linux partition, format it as NTFS, then add it to your existing partition in Windows.. Then, to remove GRUB, boot from the WinXP CD, and boot into the recovery console. From the console, type
Code:
fixmbr
this will remove GRUB and restore the WinXP master boot record.
