I need to get sendmail completely off my Redhat Linux Enterprise v. 3 server. I was able to disable it, but now I find that I need to completely remove it.
[root@Server home]# rpm -e sendmail
error: Failed dependencies:
/usr/sbin/sendmail is needed by (installed) redhat-lsb-1.3-3.1.EL3
smtpdaemon is needed by (installed) mdadm-1.5.0-9.1
New to Linux here. So does this mean than I need to remove the two programs listed?
