remote shutdown

I'm looking for a program similar to shutdown.exe for linux. I have a windows machine on my network with a battery backup, i would like one of my linux boxes to be able to shut it down in case of a power outage. Any ideas?

I know it can be done. I have seen it before. Try man net.
