relaying to email server
 
Hello,

I have configure my Red Hat 9 server with sendmail, i use smtp on port 25 and pop3s on port 995 ... everything is running fine when i use internal email... when the server needs to relay email to another email server ... relaying denied ... any suggestion

relaying is a very very bad idea. Seriously, think about these things before you try to do them.

if i dond relay ... how can isend email to other domains ....

add the network address of your internal net to /etc/mail/access.

e.g. if 172.16.0.0 is your network, add

172.16 RELAY

and restart sendmail.
