Of those of you who have installed and worked with squirrelmail, how hard is it to setup and configure for the n00b to average user? How much knowledge of things like PHP and IMAP and related servers/databases of the like would one need to set it up.

I was reading through some of the documentation and they make it sound very easy, but I am getting the feeling it's relatively easy to other programs like it; not necessarily blanketly saying, 'easy' as in easy to install something like phoenix.

Anyway, yeah, can I get some feedback on how hard/easy it was for you to get squirrelmail up and running?

How's about just whether or not one would have to know anything about PHP to get it running?

I don't know any programming. I want to be able to allow access to email from my system via ANY web browser. Is there an easy way to do this?
