reiserFS viewer

I recently intalled Knoppix-STD to the harddrive of my laptop, but I also have WinXP installed. I was thinking of doing a dual-boot, but wasn't thinking that there was no boot loader in KSTD.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a utility for Windows that would allow me to read and write to a reiserfs partition so that I could install GRUB or LILO.

Or even sugguest an easier way of doing what I want to do. Reformating the HDD is not an option since I have files that I need to keep with no real way to backup files from the laptop.

Easiest would be to boot to a floppy or bootable cd that had lilo or grub installed and just use those to boot from your linux partition.

They are often called 'rescue floppies'.. but most live CDs also have a lilo or grub prompt when they first boot.

Well I was trying to get around that... Just simply because I use the laptop for work and I'm on the go quite a bit. So it's a bit of a hassle to have to keep booting to a cd or floppy.

But if I can't find a way around it, then that's probably what I'll end up doing.

well, just do it once, then setup lilo or grub from your linux partition and you shouldnt have to do it again.
