ReiserFS reader for Windows?

Hello Friends,

I have a very big problem. I recently had to shift to my cousin's house, and so I took my data hdd with me. My hard disk has ReiserFS FileSystem. My cousin does not have Linux installed, so I can't read from my hard disk. Also, even for me to install Linux, I have to clean my hdd first, as there is no partition free in my cousin's system.

Is there any tool that allows ReiserFS to be read from Windows? If I can get such a tool, I can copy the data and then install Linux in my hdd.

Thanx for your time.

i'm using visualrftools:

a little buggy, imho. but it works.

Thanx, I'll try it and reply.

There are also rfstools. Can't remember the url but they work. They're not GUI operated, though. Apparently there are some front ends for it but I've never used them.

Not totally related to your question, but if you are staying over there and are without Linux you could always download Knoppix 3.3 and run it from the cdrom. It's pretty killer. I just spent a weekend at my parents house and brought it with me. Had every app I could ever want right on the cd and had me running Linux there without disturbing their PC :D

I'll try knoppix ! Yes that is a very good idea.

Actually the rfstools did not work as my /etc is under ext3 and so it exits with an error, saying that it can't read the fstab file.
