Regd, X windows


Hi all,

I'm not able to go to GUI window, while booting it just go to CLI, not GUI window, could you anyone please help me out to resolve this issue.

Find this line in /etc/inittab

# The default runlevel.
id:X:initdefault:

Change the X to 2 or 5. In my Ubuntu system, it's 2. I've also seen 5 go straight to X Windows.
