Regarding BitNami Lampstack

I am using Fedora 14. Recently I have tried to install BitNami Lampstack,

I have done the following things in gnome-terminal: -

$ su
$ password
$ chmod 755 bitnami-lampstack-1.2-4-linux-installer.bin
$ ./bitnami-lampstack-1.2-4-linux-installer.bin

But unfortunately I got unknown errors.

Unless this thread will include relevant technical details RSN it will be impossible to solve. Regardless of that why in $deities name would you import a foreign AMP stack when F14 comes with Apache MySQL and PHP itself?..

Due to unavoidable circumstances I was unable to open my account. Now I want to ask that is there any way to use Apache MySQL and PHP in F14 as a Local Webserver for building Websites and then view it in default Web Browser (such as Mozilla), if so, then what are the procedures need to be followed or done. I am currently using Fedora 14.
