reformat for Windows

I have tried to install Suse Linux on a Pentium machine, but it keeps jamming. I've tried other Kernels but still unsuccesfull. Now i want to use this computer again for some windowsprogram, but i cannot seem to use the complete harddisk anymore. Any idea's how to do it?

windows isn't able to recognize the linux partitions that where made when you installed it.
So you have to boot from a windows startdisk, and then remove the "non dos " partition(s) with "fdisk".
And add it to the primary partition (delete primary and make a new with all available space, then type format c: , all content will be deleted sorry).
Or you might be able to get hold of partition magic or a similar program that might do the job.

You didn't explain what your jamming problem with suse 8.0 was?.
Usually suse just install itself, and then it works.
But certain graphic chips like intel 810 isn't supported, in the distributions, so you have to get the drivers from intel's webside, and make it to work yourself.

Don't give up yet, make a post in the "newbie-section",
with your jamming problem, you might get some help there.

if the linux partitions are not formatted then very easy to get rid of that but in case of having some data on it ,dos fdisk is unusable.
try some other partitioning tool which supports all th filesystems not this fdisk of microsoft which just supports itself.
like ranish partition manager.
