RedHat Update Agent Bug? What do i do ?


When I try to register with RHN, it prompts that it was unable to register my username, With the following code:

well you'd have to go to redhat's website and download the updated rhn packages from there and install them. redhat changed their ssl settings a while ago that necessitated upgrading rhn packages. look for the packages for your version of redhat. but to let you know, redhat has stopped support for it's desktop distros (up to and including rh 9.0 is no longer supported). i think you can still get all the updates that they put out before the time they stopped supporting those versions though.
