Unhappy RedHat Linux 9 XWindow


Hi Friends I am new in Linux. I have IBM Netvisa 8310-78G which have Intel 845G VGA Card I install Linux 9, 3 times. But Unable to load X Window. I got Driver for Intel VGA but now still problem MY Log file is listed down. Please help me IT's urgent for me.

intel845 g doesnot require a extra driver ,as XFree4.3 comes inbuilt with the driver for i845g,make sure that the proper modules are loaded ,the easy way to do that would be use vesa driver to start X windows,
(in the device section write vesa in driver line in the file /etc/X11/XF86Config)
now start X
startx
and using the redhat config tool,use the proper driver

I reinstall MY Linux with 640x480 & 256 Colors .

It start X Window but when i change the Resolution & color and logout and login. X window crash again. now how i reset it to 640x480 & 256 Colors.

and how rectify the problem with high color & Resolution
