Redhat 9 users , need help with email server !

This is driving me insane....grrrrrrr

I have SquirrelMail and i can send mail to anywhere on the internet but cannot get pop3 to work...

its weird because when i login into the SquirrelMail if i send my self and email: me@mydomain.com then i get the email on my inbox , but i send a email from my hotmail account to me@mydomain.com i dont get it....

this is my first time doing the email server and so far ive done good, but now im really stock.. i search the forums for weeks because i know that theres lots of topics about this, but nothing has help me.

Also i HATE when some users post a question for help and days later they post " GOT IT WORKING YEAPAAAAA" but the dont say how the fix it. remember that some ppl have the same problems.

PS: i also notice that when i send a email, sendmail still relaying on localhost.localdomain.... Im so confused. Please help

So, @mydomain.com is "hosted" within your computer ?

You need to be MUUUCH more specific than:

"cannot get pop3 to work..."

"its weird because when i login into the SquirrelMail if i send my self and email: me@mydomain.com then i get the email on my inbox , but i send a email from my hotmail account to me@mydomain.com i dont get it...."

So, I'll suppose @mydomain.com is hosted within your SquirrelMail. What is happening if that is true ?

When you mail using Squirr., it can easily find me@mydomain.com BECAUSE IT IS ITS OWN DOMAIN.

When you mail from Hotmail, how does Hotmail servers where to send the email for @mydomain.com ?

I mean have you set your MX DNS records ?

Ok. First

I change my router to a new linksys and now sendmail does not work. what i mean is that it wont send any mail outside my home network....grrrr why ?

Looks like your router has mail (SMTP) port (25) blocked...
