Question redhat 8 can't even use linux rescue boot

Hi.

So I installed an rpm (--force) that apparently replaced my ld_linux.so.2 with an older version, now I'm in big trouble. From that point on I couldn't execute anything. Eveything, including su, gave me "/lib/ld-linux.so.2: version 'GLIBC_PRIVATE' not found (required by /lib/i686/libc.so.6)". So I thought I'd reboot with the Psyche disc I used to install the system, and do a Linux Rescue and go from there. But when I do so, it boots up to initrc.img.... and then NOTHING. Just a flashing curser.

Please Help.
Thank you.
m.
