RedHat 8.0 + NetBeans + JDK 1.4.2
 

I have been running RedHat 8.0 for a year now and I love it. I'm trying to fully get away from my Windows machine at work and I am stuck with NetBeans. I have NetBeans installed and working well. I try to take a NetBeans project, built on Windows, and begin working on it on Linux and I run into problems. I can compile and run the project from the command line but when I try to compile the classes in NetBeans, I get "cannot resolve symbol" errors for java core objects and such. I thought it might be a permissions thing but it wasn't. Anyone know why this would happen? Thanks, Jeremy
