Red Hat 9 Install Problem
 

Okay ive been using debian for awhile but im sick of it as drivers for it are very crappy and converting rpm's to debs usually crash or something goes wrong. Well anyway ive got red hat 9 and i have extracted the iso' s and burnt them to discs. I get red hat boot screen telling me to press enter for a graphical install interface or linux text for a text based install interface, aftering trying them it just goes to a black screen and flickers and i can see Welcome to Red Hat 9 for a spit second before it refreshes again.... it does this and wont stop.... Ive tried the install commmands linux text, resolution=1024x768(my monitor can easily do 1280x1024 so ....), skipddc, noprobe, mem=512M, and all of these at once and the same problem happens every time...

You may have burned the CDs wrong or have a corrupt download.

Do not extract anything from the .iso, use nero to burn the iso straight to a cd, and I think you can also burn as bootable image choice.
