Red Carpet installation problems

I just downloaded the 3 RPM files necessary to install Red Carpet on my SuSE 8.2 computer, but I ran into some problems I'm hoping somebody here can help me with.

The Three RPM's are for:

rcd
rug
red-carpet

When I did the usual "rpm -Uvh" on the rcd RPM, I got the usual output of a bunch of "#########" and then a second line that said "0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off "

I haven't seen anything like it before, and I don't know what it means, but there were no errors reported and it seemed ok, so I assumed it installed.

The install or the rug went fine like any other install.

Then when I tried to install red-carpet I once again got the "########" that usually indicate that an install is working, but then got a secont line that said "execution of red-carpet-2.0.0-0.ximian.7.4 script failed, exit status 127"

Anybody have any idea what could have gone wrong, and how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Why don't you just type (as root in a console):

wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh

Quote:
Requirements

On the computer where you wish to install Ximian Desktop, there must be:

* An active internet connection
* A supported version of Linux
* A working install of wget

Instructions

Our automatic download and install is the easiest way to get Ximian® Desktop. There is nothing to download first, just follow the instructions below.

Note: Enjoy faster download service and premium extras like professional fonts, browser plugins, a year of Red Carpet™ Express priority updating, and premium support by purchasing Ximian Desktop 2. After purchasing, you will be given special instructions so your faster install can begin right away!

1. Open a terminal window.
2. Using the su command, become superuser (root).
3. Type the following command or cut and paste it into your terminal:
wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh

Note that the | character above is the "pipe" symbol, obtained by pressing SHIFT-\ on most keyboards.

This will automatically download and run the Ximian Installer, which will allow you to choose the software you wish to install. Once you make your selections, the packages will be fetched from the Internet and installed automatically.

Having trouble installing? You can get help at our Support Center.
From Ximian's website : http://ximian.com/products/desktop/download.html

From the installer, you can specify Red Carpet or just Evolution.

I'm a little confused by that. If I use that option, do I need to install/have installed the ximian desktop? Because I don't want it, only Red Carpet.

Thanks.

That's exactly what I did to begin with. The RPM's I reveived from there are what caused the problems. Never mind though, I think I have it worked out now, the script works.
