Recover FAT from linux
I recently had a computer crash which corrupted my file allocation table (FAT32). I'm booting from a linux CD, and I want to recover the FAT. The Sleuth Kit only seems to work on disk images, and I don't have enough space to make a disk image as I'm trying to recover about 140Gb of data, and it would be much faster to simply recover the FAT anyway.
I need something like GetDataBack for FAT, that's free. I can't afford to buy it.
I'm hoping to recover the FAT as it was and resume normal use.
Any suggestions?
