Recommendations for XML development software

Hello,

I am looking for any development software that can help me work with a very large and convoluted XSL transformation. I have checked out Eclipse and didn't really care for it much and I still have to check out the latest Netbeans. Does anyone know of any other development software that can handle large XML projects?

Thanks.

Altova XMLSpy in WINE. SPY works for me for my work, but u have to employ MS.
OS Alternatives doesn't have anything listed: http://www.osalt.com/xml-copy-editor and i'm not aware of anything slick in open source too.
If you find smth - please post.
