recomend program to adjust sound volume (mixer ?) (NO KDE GNOME)

Hey guys and girls.

im using icewm, no kde, and no gnome.
and id rather not install them just to use the normal redhat 9 program for
adjusting my sound cards volume.

can anyone recomend a program (preferably graphical)
which i can just turn the volume up on ?

the default volume is quite quiet.

thanKyou

Try running "aumix" in a console or "aumix-X11".

Man I feel like a complete noob / pressed the redhat in gnome / Sound & Video / Volume control / then it has an extra tab I never noticed before with a mixer on it.
