RealPlayer10GOLD.rpm won't work

I have fedora core 3 and I installed the Realplayer10GOLD.rpm and it seemed to replace the helix player that came in the distro. That's fine, but realplayer won't run. I get this:
/usr/local/RealPlayer/realplay.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried installing the .bin file of the same variety and I get the same response. I also tried to delete the RPM through the GUI and it wasn't there to start with. So, I deleted the helix player because the icon for the helix player was replaced by the realplayer one, but still no luck.
I thought if I could delete the RPM or reinstall another it might work. What should I do?

Type "locate libstdc++.so" on a command line. What do you see as the output?

If it finds a libstdc++.so.6 instead of an so.5 then your problem is you have a newer version of the libraries then realplayer was linked against when they built the package.
