RealPlayer

Whoops, sorry about that. I meant to click on find similar threads.

OK, I have downloaded RealPlayer10 and installed package with
YaST. It all sits there nicely in /usr/local/bin. I fire up konquerer, go
to the bbc news website, and click on whatever. The window comes up,
and its saying whatever is now playing in a blank field on the screen.
It clearly isn't playing, but sure thinks it is.

Someone did mention a similar problem earlier, but I already have Xine,
and I have installed the xine-ui with plugins. I assume Konquerer
is being told by the bbc to use real player anyway, if thats happening
can I override it?

If anyone has successfuly done this, what is the problem here?

Actually, use the edit button in the future instead of starting an unfinished thread with a new thread.

Actually, I had not accidentally posted as I thought, my Realplayer problem still stands.

Well you started two threads (identical topics) which one stopped with only a few words into the thread. I was pointing out that instead of creating multiple threads which is against our rules, you should use the edit button to have edited your existing thread which seemed unfinished instead of creating a whole new thread.

Now on with the topic with a kind regards to try and follow our rules.

Ah, I hadn't realised I'd done that.
