Random web browser crashing

Im on Gentoo with a 2.6.9 kernel and X version 6.8.0-r4. Every web browser I have (Firefox, Nautilus, Mozilla) randomly crashes on many sites, but is very picky when its going to act up. For example, I go to gamespot.com (I dont have enough posts to put a url) it works fine but 5 minutes later the same site will cause the browser to crash. Firefox when run with : firefox --sync gamespot.com spits out the following error when a crash occurs:

This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 85 error_code 8 request_code 144 minor_code 3)

Any help is appreciated in advance :-D
