racer game


hello...there..

i have down loaded the Racer game from
http://www.racer.nl/news.htm and i used the command
make 2 compile the source (as per their instruction)
but the following errors occours at the end of
compilation

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lfmod-3.6
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [racer] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/mnt/BACKUP_1/Applications/Linux/rr050src/src/racer/
main'
make: *** [_subdir_src/racer/main] Error 2
[root@Magic-Box rr050src]#

can any1 tell me what has gone wrong...???

according to the main download page, you need fmod. here's the link the page points to.

http://www.racer.nl/download/libfmod-3.61.zip

It is still the same error.................why??
i m using RH9 in grphical mode

Open up the file called makefile in the rr050src directory and change the text
lfmod-3.6 to lfmod-3.61, or whatever version of FMOD you have.

Now save and recompile. There maybe other problems after that though (it happened to me).
