Lightbulb quickie fix? Totem working, but pops crash msg...

Installed my 3rd MDK 9.2 system (this one at work). Getting better at this. Anyway, here's the deal: Launching an MP3 in Totem loads totem, pops a crash message, but appears to play anyway. Problem is that you can't close Totem! You can start another one and it works, but the old ones still hang out. Got 5 other Totem windows that can't be closed. Did a ps -fe ! grep "totem" but geez, it'll take less time to reboot!

So heres' my Q's:

1. Any Windoze "Task Manager" type way to easy kill these windows?

2. Is there a good MP3 player that allows me quick navigation and volume settings from the task bar or mini-applet that you like?

Thanks much!

Oh, and I forgot, is there a media player that doesn't stutter when I'm browsing. Got a PIII 600 system and it skips during page loads.

Well, got some of it figured out. No longer crashing, killed the processes OK. Still gotta find a media player that doesn't skip.
