Questions on Linphone blank video and using Linphone in Jitsi.

Hi.

I have setup Linphone. I previously setup Ekiga a while back and was able to make and receive calls from and to Linphone & Ekiga using a VirtualBox VM. So calls seem fine. This webpage was also very useful for making sure the call audio was fine: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Phone+Numbers

Problems:
I have no video in Linphone, it just shows a black screen.
I have video in Jitsi, but cannot setup either Linphone or Ekiga SIP addresses in it.

On a side note, I installed Linphone in Android and it constantly says 'Registration in progress' instead of 'Registered'.

Please help. Thanks.

I'm not sure what the option named 'enable self-view' means - shows yourself instead of the person at the other end of the line?

If I select the 'static image' option, the program crashes.

How do you set up linphone ?
I am having major problems with all the dependancies demanding dependancies and sbopkg not working how people say it does.

I had no problem installing it - just went to Synaptic Package Manager.

Thanks, I have had a series of suggestions from another thread. You see I am using Slackware at the moment.
