Question re: Setting Gabber defaults

I'm running Gabber 0.8.6 on RH9, with jabberd and mu-conf installed.

The program works great, group chats connect with no problems.

The problem is, if I Ctl-C (Join Group Chat) to connect with my chat server, the room is always Blank, and the server is set to conference.jabber.org.

I'd like to set a default room, and for the server default to be conference.myserver.org.

Is this possible? I looked around for a .conf file, but didn't see anything that looked relevant.

Thanks much.
