Question on google's API key for the chromium browser
 

I am building my own version of chromium and have come to a snag when dealing with google's API key. If I am compiling my own custom build of chromium outside of my distro's repository do I need to get my own API key or can I use the one my distro uses?

If it's for your own personal use you xhould be fine, if you intend to pass the software on you may be in breach of googles licence
