question on disable the screen saver
 
Hi:
I just compiled the gnome 2.8.
I want to know how do I disable the screensaver in there
Usually I used xscreensaver, but when I run that in terminal. it said already runnning.

In gnome go to foot--> applications--> desktop preferences--> advanced--> screensaver and set the mode to disable screensaver. To kill it from the terminal; from the command line do

find the PID of the screensaver and then

Thank You. I don't have that screensaver menu in the foot
