pff, well I am certainly not a wine enthousiast. At first I thought it was a great project, until I started to test it. If the things you want to run with wine are simple and small, then it will do, but things like kazaa aren't as easy.

If I were you, I'd start searching for things to replace your windows apps instead of trying to make them run on linux...

good luck,
elluva

Also i would like to add the fact that it is not a simple program to install or use. I use winex for some video games under linux and i am happy with it so far, but i have heard complaints. And if you are looking for file sharing i would just use apollon.

I've been able to install and run Dreamweaver 3.0 under Crossover Office's commercial version of wine (free trial download) without a hitch. I've heard 4.0 and MX work as well. www.codeweavers.com
