Quake 3


Hey guys i am trying to run Quake3, my graphics card is a TNT riva 64. Really old thing, when i runnit i get this message any ideas?
Im using slackware 10 and im a noob

You don't seem to have 3D acceleration. Have you installed the nvidia binary drivers from nvidia.com?

its an ATI, does that make any difference

I have an Riva TNT card and I'm pretty sure it's nvidea so make sure you have the correct drivers and are not using some generic ones
