I'm really puzzled on how to install QT 3.2 on Debian Sarge.

You might want to be careful. I don't know which version of KDE comes with Sarge, but if it is KDE 3.3.x, the version of Qt you need is 3.3. Installing Qt 3.2 on Sarge, if that is the case, could cause some problem.
