I have a qmail server
Is there any way if all clients HAVE TO use auth for sending email? Because I tried sending email without auth, it's still posibble

Hello,

Check the run file for the qmail-smtpd that has smtp-auth enabled.

Yours may be different, but the path to mine is:

/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smtpd/run

Here is the end of my run file:

-u "$QMAILDUID" -g "$NOFILESGID" 0 587 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd /bin/cmd5checkpw /bin/true 2>&1

You likely have a config option that looks something like this:

Quote:

-x /etc/tcprules.d/qmail-smtpd.cdb

Remove that option and your qmail-smtpd will only use the smtp-auth mechanism and no longer allow IP based relay.
