I am trying to set up the qmail defaultdelivery file using ./Maildir/ and there are problems (so close: I can see it trying to send.....) but I think I need to make a maildir, which can't just be a dir, or:
[root@aztec control]# ps -efl | grep "service errors" | grep -v grep
0 S root 5264 5261 0 69 0 - 328 pipe_w 00:02 ? 00:00:00 readproctitle service errors: ...directory?env: ./Maildir/: No such file or directory?env: ./Maildir/: No such file or directory?env: ./Maildir/: No such file or directory?env: ./Maildir/: No such file or (etc.....)
So I need to to makemaildir, which I need to install, but...
Please explain this, which I have bumped into before:
[root@aztec rpm]# rpm -i maildirmake++-2.1.2-2mdk.i586.rpm
warning: maildirmake++-2.1.2-2mdk.i586.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 26752624
package maildirmake++-2.1.2-2mdk is already installed
[root@aztec rpm]# rpm -q --dump maildirmake++-2.1.2-2mdk.i586.rpm
package maildirmake++-2.1.2-2mdk.i586.rpm is not installed
So, already installed, but not installed. O.K.
(ok, yes: maybe it _does_ have something to do with the warning...)
Anyway, help with rpm, help with qmail: whatever, I need help.
disclaimer: I am not a spammer; I just have a php script that I would like to email a password (like the one this site uses!) in case a user forgets. I mention this because they make installation *so* *f'in* *difficult* I can only assume the idea is to thwart spammers....
