QMail packing a wobbly still

I had a post on here yesterday regarding this problm (can't find it through all the ones here lol). I got the problems sorted but I have one more (and i'm also getting this on another machine that I built with qmail.

The error i'm getting in /var/log/qmail/smtp/current is:

tcpserver: fatal: unable to figure out port number for -x

Not sure exactly where i've gone wrong but it's strange that it's on both machines.

Oh and BTW, I can still send mail BUT these logs are becoming big reasonably fast (i.e i went to work, came home and i have about 28mb worth

)

I too had the same problem but i managed to solve it.

In my case it was the postfix the problem.

type

ps -ef | grep postfix

if you get something like

root 18334 5054 0 19:52 pts/0 00:00:00 grep postfix

It means postfix is running. stop postfix & then restart qmail.

/sbin/service postfix stop
