Question qmail bounces

Hi. I have the latest qmail installation, patches and all, on a linux box. Spammers are flooding my domain like crazy, so my machine spends butt-loads of time sending bounces that tell "the user doesn't exist". Does anyone know of some simple way to turn bounces off?

Why not just refuse their requests or connections? The bounce option is a nice thing to have incase of real potential emails.

That would be the thing to do, if only it was the same email (or even domain) sending the emails. The email address is always used only once, maybe twice and because there are so many, I don't feel like wasting the rest of my life filing blacklist records. I wish there was a better way to stop it than killing bounces, but I can't think of any other way around it.

Please help if anyone has any other suggestions or knows an easy way to turn of bounced messages in qmail.

Thanks in advance,
lyon

Set the catchall account to delete the mails - that way, if the user doesn't exist - the catchall account receives it and the mail just drops... problem solved.
