qemu with ipcop

I'm trying to setup a virtual ipcop on a server I'm building but am having a hard time getting ipcop to see the network cards correctly.

System is running Fedora Core 9 64bit with qemu/kvm. I'm using Virtual Manager to interface to qemu.

Ipcop needs to be seen like an actual physical PC on the network. I feel like I've tried everything...

I have three available NICs:
Code:
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0F:B5:8D:6E:26
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0F:B5:47:95:AF
eth2 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:19:21:47:C6:43

how do I go about doing this?

Has anybody ever done anything like this before? I have seen one thing done with the xen hypervisor here: http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/Co...0b6afb632ec5e0. I can't use xen because it doesn't work with my hardware (either only initializes one core or restarts). Looks like its possible with xen but how would I go about the same thing with qemu?

Found your thread in a search, and will contribute this link:

I can't answer any questions, as I, too, am learning about using
KVM and QEMU.

i've ipcop running in qemu.
I've created 3 bridges, one for LAN (Green Interface), INTERNET (Red Interface), and DMZ (Orange Interface). I start qemu with 3 tap network interfaces and added each interface to the corresponding bridge.
