that looks like the package, thanks. but when I try to install I get this error message:
Quote:
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/zax/pygimp-0.2.0/src'
gcc -pthread -fPIC -DNDEBUG -O3 -march=i486 -mcpu=i686 -I/usr/include/python2.4 -I/usr/lib/python2.4/config @DEFS@ -c ././gimpmodule.c -o ./gimpmodule.o
gcc: cannot specify -o with -c or -S and multiple compilations
make[1]: *** [gimpmodule.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/zax/pygimp-0.2.0/src'
make: *** [gimpmodule] Error 2
I really just hate python

ok, I'm desperate for figuring this out. Whenever I run Gimp, I want to run python-fu. There is a menu section that is entitled python-fu, but whenever I try to run anything out of this menu, terminal spits back this error
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/python/gimpfu.py", line 572, in _run
    res = _interact(func_name, start_params)
  File "/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/python/gimpfu.py", line 246, in _interact
    import pygtk
ImportError: No module named pygtk
what is module pygtk and where can I find it????
