PVR with udp multicast streams?

Ok here's the situation.

I have a linux iptv box, it runs linux busybox and what it does it will display the video streams my ISP supply through my second fiber connection and will display it to the TV. So it is basicly a STB, but as anyother STB you always have one problem. You need one for each tv and there is only one connection available.

So what I want is an app like mythtv, that can run as a backend on my server. So it will have a list of all the streams, then a frontend client can request a stream from the server and the server will connect to the stream and will then restream it over my internal network to the client.

So my question is really, is there any software that does this? It is a udp multicast stream, mpeg2 encoded I think. VLC plays it without problems...

If there isnt a backend that does this, is there a PVR app or something then were I can add the streams to a list and then browse through them? I could probebly set up my server to act as a gateway and just connect my internal network with my second fiber conncetion. But I am not sure if this works because I have tried simular stuff with connection a router but the udp stream wont get forwarded for some reason (dont ask me why, probebly something to do with the protocol)..

Sorry for the long thread, I hope I explained everything :P

Looks like there is no software to do this

Does anyone know how a multicast stream works? What I need to do to merge it with my internal network?

Thanks
