PVFS 1.6.2 (out of memory)

When I was trying to configure the metadata server of Parallel Virtual File System
it all went fine till I reached the "Enter the I/O nodes: (can use form node1, node2, ... or
nodename#-#,#,#)" line.
when i typed in frontend-0, compute-0-0 it response with "Out of memory" after awhile.
Anyone knows how to deal with this?

Thousands of thanks
