Publishing to IIS without using Frontpage

Hi,

Sadly the co. I work for is a Microsoft shop. I have a heap of IIS/ASP site publishes I must do during a 3-7 AM maintenance window. I am looking for a way to automate this process with Open Source software, on Linux or on Windows. I have a way of automating the moves with Frontpage, but it's problematic.

I won't likely get FTP access to those servers, so that's out as an option. I don't really know what we're doing that requires Frontpage as a publishing tool, other than trying to preserve the existing FP Server Extensions. I don't really know what Frontpage or Interdev do behind the scenes with this....am researching it now.

I'd love to hear from anyone who's using Linux to publish to IIS servers.

Thanks,

Dave
