Arrow Programs/Installers won't execute. PLEASE HELP

Hey guys,

I installed Firefox today it was running perfectly, then i installed some things of my installation dvd, After that i restarted and when i logged back in my firefox wasnt working, I tried re-installing firefox but when i execute the installation-bin it's all fine untill i press next then it closes on me. It's not the installer thats corrupt because i've downloaded another installer and that one wouldn't work either. Can someone please help me?

Oh and aMSN won't work either i $cd or sh the amsn file and it wont execute.

Thanks, DesyphER

sorry to here you are having problems.

those core things are memory dumps... umm.. I'm not sure how to explain it, but they are usually created when you try and compile a program. The ones that you know you don't need anymore are usually the first thing to go when you are running out of space...

yes, harddrive space.

hmm.. probably best to check with an expert, but I haven't had any problems dumping the oldest dumps.
