proftpd + UserAlias + UserPassword

Hi,

I currently am running ProFTPD version 1.3.1.

I currently have some users that i wish to create additional logins using the UserAlias directive.

That seems to have been fine and the aliased users can login using the real user password.

I have also entered the UserPassword directive to try and make each aliased user have own password.

So far this has been unsuccesful.

Despite having the UserPassword directive in place, the aliased users can ONLY login with the real users password.

This is beginning to drive me crazy, can someone please assist me?

I have also put my entire /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf config via pastebin. http://www.pastebin.org/54708

How did you create the hashed password?
AFAIK proftpd has the ftpasswd utility to create hashes. Reading the documentation you have to use des5 for encryption.
I don't use these directives, but I think that you can also add
Code:
UserPassword morphix <password>
and see if it works
