proftpd

Does any one know a place to find the syntax to use when having a customized welcome.msg for a proftpd server %t and %n are by default in there but I am sure there is more.

Thanks for your help

LOL ....

no sorry what I meant was HOW TO MODIFY THE MESSAGE ITSELF . Please dont say VI or PICO.

E.G. next to the time and the # of current user I would like the average bandwidth, current bandwith, avergae usage ...etc

%t shows the local time
%n the current # of users..

I just want to know what other % codes there are so that I can customize my message.

Thanks for tyring though

Mr.P

Has a look at the bottom of this:

http://proftpd.linux.co.uk/docs/dire...irstChdir.html

DisplayLogin supports the same "magic cookies" as DisplayFirstChdir.
