how can i change the port from 21 to 2121? a formet tech of mine did it before but idk how to do it

specify it in the /etc/proftpd.conf file

Hey Guys I wonder is there some difference, if ProFTPd works on port 21 or 2121?

Nope, no difference, it's just that most users have to specify the 2121 port: i.e. ftp.domain.com:2121

oh, and some firewalls may block the 2121 port by default, but other than that there's no prob at all. So go nuts!
