problems with xmms and mplayer after upgrading to fedora 11
basically i just upgraded from fedora 10 to 11 and i'm having a couple problems with xmms, pulseaudio and mplayer
my setup is fedora 11 with an nvidia 8500 video card running dual monitors and the latest Nvidia drivers from Nvidia's website
and an HDA ATI SB sound card (at least that is what KMIX identifies it as)
basically after i upgraded the other day now mplayer in XV mode flashes red every few seconds and XMMS sets the volume lower every time it changes songs until the volume reaches zero
anyone else have this problem
i use pulseaudio, which gives an error on load (failed to find a working profile, failed to load module "module-alsa-card" (argument: "device_id=1 name=pci109e_879_sound_card_0 card_name=alsa_card.pci109e_878_sound_card_0 tsched=1") initialization failed.
