Problems with running Amsn

whenever I type ./amsn to run it, it says "/root/ActiveTcl8.4.4.0-linux-ix86/bin/wish: error while loading shared libraries: libtk8.4.so: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory" Why does it say this?...

You haven't got Tk installed properly. Or if you have, try running "ldconfig" as root before running amsn.

I don't know what you are doing to get this problem since TCL and Tk are included with Slack9 and work out of the box. It seems to me you have tried to install a new TCL and not done it properly, things should not be installed to /root

To run things in /root you have to be root. You shouldn't be root running Amsn. You should very rarely ever be root!
